Mr. Wyman's practice focuses on federal estate and gift taxation, estate planning and drafting, estate and trust administration, and other matters involving family wealth transactions. Mr. Wyman's practice includes drafting various estate planning documents, such as wills, trust agreements, marital property agreements, family limited partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, real estate notes and deeds, and powers of attorney. Mr. Wyman represents estates during administration, including the preparation of Federal Estate and Gift Tax Returns. Mr. Wyman also prepares requests for private letter rulings from the Internal Revenue Service, petitions for judicial modification of trust agreements, annual reports to the court for guardians of the person and guardians of the estate, and assists non-profit organizations in obtaining tax-exempt determination from the Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Wyman graduated from Sam Houston State University in May 1983 with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1989, and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law in 1997. Mr. Wyman graduated in the top 10% of his class; received formal concentrations in Estate Planning, Business Planning, and Business Litigation; and was a N & C Editor on Baylor Law Review. Mr. Wyman is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law, Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Prior to becoming a solo practitioner, Mr. Wyman practiced estate planning and probate law in Houston at Bracewell & Patterson, L.L.P.; and at Davis, Ridout, Jones, & Gerstner, L.L.P.; and was a Fiduciary Manager at JPMorgan Private Bank.
